Major Living Was Created Out of the Love I Have for my Grandparents

I loved the summers at my grandparents farm when I was a child during summer holidays. 

I built character there.

I learned a lot!  I learned about cooking traditional meals, gardening, hunting, fishing, appreciating nature and I appreciated the stories from their past.

My grandma had a heart attack after a hip replacement.  8 months later, my grandfather passed away.  He suffered for many years with heart disease and 'bad hips'.  (Personally, I think he died of a broken heart).

I was 22 years old. 

What I know now that I never knew then is the reason why Major Living was created

FACT: There is more than a 50% reduction in mortality among fit and active older adults compared to sedentary people.


FACT: The Last 12 Years of a Person's Life, On Average, is in Suffering.
